The Vitra Corniche shelf design arose from the need for small storage spaces to spontaneously keep items, and this black high gloss version is available in 3 different sizes. The reason that Corniches are neither rectangular or simple horizontal surfaces has evolved in ” the same way that we hang our beach towel on a rock jutting from a cliff before diving into the sea, we need small storage spaces in everyday life too” – Ronan Bouroullec.

Each individual corniche is an isolated protrusion in the environment we create whether it is used as a key rack beside the front door, a spot to put the soap dispenser on in a bathroom or as a pedestal for a collection of small objects. The different sizes available can be used together to create a wonderful large installation and are a new way to use wall living spaces. Delivered in high-quality gift wrapped package.
